Winner of the 2008 Living your Dreams contest sponsored by TemaHome and organized by the Portuguese Center of Design, product designer Nadia Carina Soares is the 2009 upcoming addition to our family of talented designers.
Born 1986 in Lisbon, Portugal, Nadia lived in Greece for two years developing a profound admiration for their ancient culture, particularly the Greek language. That affection is notable in some of the names she baptizes her projects.
Nadia is known by her colleagues for her constant quest for inspiration in natural shapes and simplistic forms. The end results are minimalist but functional designs that often show little seams or complex details attributing a young and clean final look.
